Mycelium Sanctuary is an immersive exhibition by Galway-based artist, Sara K Dunn, at Engage Art Studios in Lower Salthill. The artworks and interactive installation are inspired by the expansive queerness of nature, with a specific devotion to queer mycology. Remembering nature’s queerness provides comfort amidst hostile times for Queer and Trans communities. Mycelium Sanctuary was created to provide a place solace, resting, imagining, and gathering.
